As we face this “New Normal” and the world is slowly trying to recover from the complete stoppage and economic damage that COVID-19 has brought on, especially in the tourism and hospitality industry, we have put in place health and safety measures implemented by both local and international organizations. We want to assure our patrons and future guests that we are keeping our establishment safe and sanitary to be able to give you a wonderful beach holiday experience for when domestic and international travel bounces back.
Temperature check at main entrance for guests and staff. Each guest and resort staff will be subject to temperature check before being allowed entry into the resort premises. A health declaration form must also be filled out upon arrival at the main entrance of the resort. Should any guest or staff be found with a fever, they will be immediately referred to the local medical center or be sent home right away to isolate.
Sanitizing foot mats are placed at the entrance of common areas. Foot mats with sanitizing solution are placed at the entrance or doorway of all common areas of the resort, such as the main entrance near the guardhouse, Lanai, and main dining area.
Signages are placed around the resort as reminders to wear face masks, keep appropriate physical distancing in common areas, and practice proper hand hygiene at all times. Health and safety measure reminders are placed in public areas and in the resort kitchen as a caution to our staff and guests to wear face mask, maintain proper physical distancing, and practice cleanliness and proper hand hygiene at all times, especially when interacting with others in the common areas of the resort and when handling food and beverages.
Resort staff are obligated to wear proper health and safety gear at all times. Our staff and management are always required to wear face mask, face shield, and gloves (for housekeeping and F&B staff) throughout their interaction with guests and colleagues. In extreme situations, staff will be required to wear full PPE.
Allocation of Isolation Room. We have allotted an isolation room should any guest come down with any grave sickness. This room is a stand-alone room that is far from all other accommodations in the resort and is located near the main entrance/exit of the resort. In the event that medical professionals should be called in, it will be easy and quick to get in and out.
Physical distancing markers in place in common areas. 1-meter distance markings are placed in the Lanai and main dining area following the regulated physical distancing measures. Seating in the dining areas are also limited to only 50% capacity and have the proper distancing in place.
Safe but picturesque dining areas. As the resort is located on a sprawling island estate surrounded by expansive views of the sea, mountains, and neighboring islands, guests can have private and intimate meals at different locations around the resort, such as the wharf cabana, pier cabana, rooftop, or beach, where you will be treated to a unique dining experience each time.
We are very hopeful that travel will be safe and energized again soon. We cannot wait to welcome you back with us for your unforgettable beach vacation on an island in Busuanga, Palawan in the Philippines. We will all be reunited again! Until then, keep safe and healthy. See you soon!Visit Link
